Monday, July 9th, 2007This Saturday, 6-8pm, there is an art opening at Watermark, Fine Photography & Books. It includes photographs by Shelley Canton of roller derby skaters, including some from Houston Roller Derby. Some of the photos can be seen on the Watermark website.

Several miles on skates in 93° weather is nothing to the Houston Roller Derby skaters. If you came out to the 20th Annual Art Car Parade you got a chance to see the derby girls cruising the streets with the Art Cars.
If you didn’t make it, you should go ahead and put the art car parade on your calendar for next year. It’s a Houston must-see event!
