We usually record with an M-Audio Microtrack 24/96 portable recorder. I also record audio from bouts with the same recorder.

If I need to convert audio types, particularly from mp3 to aiff prior to using Levelator, I use iTunes. Not the easiest, but effective.

I edit the material in GarageBand. I tried the auto-ducking functionality, but there it didn’t do a good job, so I manually adjust levels when needed.

I first used Levelator for #28, particularly because Elle’s voice was particularly quieter than ours.
